Why Should You Buy It From Us? • 5 Solid product, excellent customer service Posted by Tom on 1st Nov 2017 OBD Innovations Customer Service: 5 Stars BMW K + D-CAN OBD2 USB INPA Cable: 4 stars I bought the BMW K + D-CAN OBD2 USB INPA Cable from OBD Innovations for the purpose of coding new injectors for my N54 engine in my 2007 BMW335i E92. My review is thus limited to that scope as I have not used the cable and software for other purposes, so cannot comment beyond my experience. The order was promptly filled (shipped to Canada - expect to pay HST and a customs fee on delivery.) and everything arrived as expected in the package and installation was fairly straight forward. I was a bit dismayed by all the German in many of the sub menus for E90 in INPA software, however given my specific task I was able to move through it given various YouTube videos on the subject.
The provided software version did not support injector programming for E9x models, but an email to support came back with a response within 24 hrs on a solution to use an older version of the INPA software complete with a link to download it and instructions to install it. I commend OBD innovations for their quick and thorough response. The solution required finding an older 32 bit computer, which I have and I have now been able to get it working as expected.
I would recommend OBD Innovations to a friend and will come back to shop here if I have any future needs. • 3 Gave up Posted by Unknown on 3rd Mar 2017 Sorry guys, I gave up trying to get the coding to go through. Cable seems to work fine. The software setup from the disc seemed to be incomplete.
Daten folders were deemed invalid. I did end up downloading files off the internet but then encountered further problems with missing files until I just gave up. Guess it's over my head.
